Do not just plug the device in. Go to Device Manager , look for any "Unknown Device" or "Zed-bull" entries under Ports (COM & LPT) or Universal Serial Bus controllers, right-click, and uninstall them. The default V508 installer often uses older drivers that Windows Security blocks by default. I spent the day troubleshooting this and finally got my device running. Here is the fix:

Run the setup as Administrator . Once installed, do not launch yet. Copy the "Fix" file from the download into the installation folder (usually C:\Program Files\Zed-bull V508 ), overwriting the original.
