This paper explores the phenomenon of online serial viewing, specifically analyzing the keyword trends surrounding platforms such as "DDMalar" and the demand for new Malayalam serials. It examines the technological drivers, the shift in viewer habits, the role of official broadcasters versus third-party aggregators, and the legal implications of digital content distribution. 1. Introduction Malayalam television serials have been a staple of household entertainment in Kerala and among the global Malayali diaspora for decades.
