This paper provides a technical and ethical analysis of "Windows Loader v2.2 by DAZ," a widely known software utility designed to bypass the Windows Activation Technologies (WAT) in Microsoft Windows operating systems. It examines the mechanism of action—specifically the BIOS emulation technique used to trick the operating system into perceiving a legitimate OEM license. Furthermore, the paper explores the role of the "WAT Fix" utility in restoring system files to allow the Loader to function.
