Wiring is straightforward for anyone with intermediate DIY experience. The terminal blocks are sturdy and accept decent gauge wire. However, I would recommend soldering the power connections directly to the pads for a permanent installation, as screw terminals can vibrate loose over time in high-power applications. Beginners should note that this is a driver board. You need to pair it correctly with your power stage (like the TDA8954 or TDA7498). Incorrect wiring can lead to fried components. The documentation available online is decent, but sometimes translation errors can occur. I highly recommend double-checking the pinout of your power stage against the RFT200’s labels before applying power. Thermal Performance and Reliability Over a 4-hour stress test at near-maximum volume (with the heatsinks becoming warm to the touch), the RFT200 remained perfectly stable. The thermal protection circuit was never triggered falsely, and the sound quality did not degrade as the system heated up. Vedi Number Tvm Install [FAST]
The RFT200 imparts a very tight, controlled bass response. There is a distinct lack of "muddiness" that often plagues lower-end driver boards. The transient response is excellent; kick drums hit with a visceral snap rather than a dull thud. The onboard capacitors seem to do a great job filtering low-frequency ripple, providing a very black background between notes.
Vocals are presented with a slight warmth, which I attribute to the input op-amp stage. It isn't clinical or sterile—it’s inviting. Acoustic guitars and piano tracks retain a natural timbre. There is very little coloration here, which is surprising for a driver board at this price point. It allows the character of your chosen amplifier chip to shine through without imposing its own signature too heavily.
