The film reimagines the legendary vampire hunter Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) not as an old doctor, but as a leather-clad, badass assassin working for the Catholic Church. He is sent to Transylvania to protect the last surviving members of a family (including Kate Beckinsale’s Anna Valerious) from the clutches of Count Dracula (Richard Roxburgh). Along the way, he has to tangle with Mr. Hyde, a battalion of vampire brides, Frankenstein’s Monster, and a Werewolf. Ts1022 Firmware Exclusive

★★★☆☆ (3/5) – Fun, flashy, and delightfully cheesy.
If you are looking for a horror movie that will keep you up at night, Van Helsing (2004) is not it. However, if you are looking for a loud, flashy, Saturday-matinee style action flick that throws every classic Universal monster into a blender, this is an undeniably entertaining ride.
Van Helsing is a guilty pleasure. It is not a cinematic masterpiece, but it is a fun monster mash that delivers exactly what it promises: Hugh Jackman fighting Dracula with automatic weapons and holy water. If you enjoy films like The Mummy or League of Extraordinary Gentlemen , this is a perfect popcorn flick.
