Selara -update 9- — See You In

This area is a navigation puzzle. It’s not just about climbing; it’s about managing your oxygen and your grip stamina while navigating treacherous currents. The architecture here is distinct—white marble interlaced with pulsating blue veins of raw Aether. It’s beautiful, but it’s deadly. Garmin 10r04 6953 Update Updated 💯

We are aiming for a release of Update 10 in roughly six to eight weeks, but as always, we won’t ship it until it’s ready. As we move into the testing phase for this patch, the Public Test Server (PTS) will open this Friday. We need you to try and break the Eco-Web. Go hunt the Thornwolves. Go climb the Spire. Tell us what breaks.

It’s hard to believe that the last time I sat down to write one of these, we were still wrestling with the core rendering engine. Update 8 felt like a milestone because we proved the game worked . Update 9, however, is the milestone where we proved the game lives .

We have spent the last three months overhauling our AI "Eco-Web."

If you’ve been following the development roadmap, you know we’ve been teasing "The Breath of the World" for a while now. Today, I want to pull back the curtain on exactly what that means, talk about the new dynamic weather systems, the overhaul to the AI ecology, and give you a first look at the newly unlocked region: The Sunken Spire. The biggest structural change in Update 9 is the complete removal of static spawn points. In previous builds, you would walk into the Whispering Woods, and sure enough, a Stalker would appear at Coordinate X, ready to fight. It worked, but it felt like a game. It didn’t feel like a world.

We’ve been tight-lipped about the story, but soon you’ll start hearing voices from the obelisks. The lore of Selara—the question of who built this world and why it is decaying—will begin to unravel.

Thank you for your patience, your feedback, and your passion. Selara is growing because you are helping it grow.
