Instead, it is a clever, satirical, and oddly heartwarming black comedy that uses a "dead body" as a vehicle to explore the pettiness, ego, and ultimate humanity of a police officer.
The film excels in showing how "official" systems often rely on bluff and bluster. It deconstructs the "Encounter Specialist" trope by showing a cop who is more concerned with his Instagram following than actual justice, only to be humbled by reality.
