The Pritom M10 is a budget tablet, and usually, the software is the first thing to suffer in low-cost devices. However, the current firmware running on the M10 (specifically the Octa-Core version running Android 12/13) offers a surprisingly competent experience. While better than competitors, newer batches of the firmware have started including pre-installed ad-supported apps (games or utilities). They are easily uninstalled, but it marks a shift from the cleaner firmware of previous years.
The navigation gestures can be finicky. The firmware's gesture tracking (swiping up to go home) is slightly less responsive than the button navigation. There is a noticeable input lag on the gesture bar that isn't present when using the on-screen keys.
