We meet Li Yunxiang, a brash, motorcycle-obsessed young man who works as a courier. He loves speed and rides a custom-built bike, often racing through the city. However, there is a complication. The spirit of Nezha is a separate, conscious entity residing within Yunxiang. Nezha is arrogant, violent, and considers humans weak. He hates the fact that he has been reborn as a "lowly" mortal and initially refuses to help Yunxiang, preferring to let the boy die so the Nezha spirit can be free.
When the De clan attacks Yunxiang's family to flush him out, tragedy strikes. In a moment of intense rage and desperation, Yunxiang’s powers fully manifest. He confronts Ao Guang, but he is no match for the ancient dragon in his human form. Yunxiang is nearly killed and his bike is destroyed.
