Microsoft’s "Games for Windows Marketplace" (GFWL) serves as a fascinating time capsule for PC gamers, but it is a service that has aged like milk. While it brought AAA titles to PC during the Xbox 360 era, the client was notoriously buggy, the DRM was restrictive, and the service has since been effectively abandoned. It gets two stars purely for the nostalgia and the fact that some great games were temporarily housed here, but as a modern storefront, it is virtually unusable.
