There was one problem. The IT budget had been slashed, and our internet speed was throttled to a crawl. I installed Windows 7, but the Device Manager looked like a Christmas tree of yellow exclamation marks. No internet driver. No audio. No USB 3.0 support. Magico-box-ver 1-09 English

When it came back on, the screen resolution snapped into perfect 1080p clarity. The little speaker icon in the corner showed a volume bar, not a red 'X'. I plugged in the Ethernet cable. Pop. "Internet Connected."
By 9:00 PM, the office was dark. I was cold, hungry, and staring at a "No Internet Connection" icon. Monday was looming.
The progress bar moved. The screen flickered. The machine rebooted.
